Shaoxing Science and Technology Association held Shaoxing International People's Science and Technology Exchanges and Industry Service Think Tank Events

To further enhance the channels of international people-to-people scientific and technological exchanges and promote the integration of science and industry, the Shaoxing Science and Technology Association organized an event on November 7th in Shaoxing. This event included international people-to-people scientific and technological exchanges and industry service think tank activities. Participating in the event were 13 foreign experts, 4 domestic think tank experts, and around 20 leaders from new materials enterprises. Yu Ping, the chairman of the Shaoxing Science and Technology Association, delivered a welcome speech. Also present were Chen Jinli, chairman of the Kejian Science and Technology Association, and officials from relevant departments of the municipal science and technology association.

Yu Ping emphasized that strengthening international people-to-people scientific and technological exchanges would positively impact the development of scientific and technological innovation cooperation, expand the circle of talented friends, and enhance the city's influence. Municipal science and technology associations act as bridges for connecting with scientific and technological workers. She hopes that through these activities, channels of contact can be opened up for scientific and technological workers and entrepreneurs both domestically and internationally, deepening exchanges and cooperation, and importing more high-quality scientific and technological resources from abroad into Shaoxing to assist the high-quality development of the new materials industry.

During the event, Academician Radionov of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences and Academician Vladimir of the Ukrainian National Academy of Engineering Sciences gave presentations titled "Research, Development, and Application of Magneto-Rheological Seals for Electrical Machines" and "Energy strategy and energy-saving measures," respectively.

Experts Yan Dongpeng, Radionov, and Kostyukov, among others, discussed topics such as the preparation and application of high-performance chromium-doped photonic crystals, magnetorheological liquid engine LEDs, and the industrial testing series of powerful LED pulsed photolysis equipment and its industrialization. Following the presentations, guests engaged in dialogues and exchanges on the themes of the event and related topics, fostering a warm atmosphere.

After the symposium, experts from the think tank visited relevant new materials production enterprises to help expand their capabilities, focusing on technical challenges faced by enterprises, key issues, training of scientific and technical personnel, and other aspects of in-depth exchanges and collaboration.
